Campaign Plants have been a successful introduction for 2008. The initiative was in 43 garden centres, and 
was well received by all involved. The initiative will be repeated for 2009. 


What are Campaign Plants?

A range of plants with a more targeted and prolonged marketing focus, created to increase 
sales and bring inspiration and a new style of promotion to the plant area.

Through imaginative images, Campaign Plants capture the customers emotions and involve 
plants in their lifestyle aspirations.

Campaign Plants consist of six plants distributed to Garden Centres, throughout the main months 
of the season. 


Which plants are Campaign Plants?

Primula 'Woodland Walk'
Dianthus 'Tickled Pink'
Fuchsia 'Janie'
Dahlia 'Chic'
Leucanthemum 'Aglaia'
Sedum 'Rose Carpet'

 

 

 

Through successful trials in 2007, it has been proven that the high quality images and marketing 
material have helped to increase plant sales.

Your input
Your level of input is up to you. The more involved  in this concept you become the better it will work for you. 
We have provided all the marketing aides you will need. Once the plants are delivered it is up to you how 
involved you make your display. We will endeavor to give you as much notice as possible before the delivery 
so you can plan the position of the display and any additional props you require. Those customers who have 
embraced the idea and designed very eye catching displays have reaped the rewards. 
    


So what really happens?

The plants are despatched over a month to ensure peak selling of key lines. They are only despatched once 
they meet the criteria set for a high quality saleable plant. Further drops are made throughout the 
month to encourage prolonged, high volume sales. 

With the first drop you will receive the POS board and table talkers. All deliveries will be on a mutually 
agreed date (to fit into our delivery schedule) and so as to ensure further drops are possible.
