Horticultural Students
Here at The Bransford Webbs
Plant Company we value the importance of both training our
current
staff, and forming links with students within the industry. We are
keen to develop and improve links
between land based colleges and the horticultural industry. As such,
various members staff have given
talks, presentations and demonstrations to a number of
college groups.
A group from the Scottish Agricultural College who visited in April
2008,
planting a Malus 'Sun Rival', from Bransford Webbs, in their
gardens which are used for practicals in recognition of their
visit.
We understand the importance of gaining experience within the
industry during your studying,
through actively working in the industry or visiting various
nurseries. As such, at certain times,
we are able to offer nursery tours to student groups and work
experience. Of course, all of this
would need to be pre-arranged with the appropriate people here at
Bransford Webbs, and is
dependent upon the season.
