The purpose built despatch facility was opened in 2012, and incorporates a large warehouse, two loading bays and is a fast and efficient despatch unit. In the peak of the season, up to thirty staff process orders and can load 113,000 plants onto 1100 CC trollies, creating 440 deliveries per week.
Each plant is labelled with a bespoke plant label featuring an eye catching image and detailed plant information. Point of Sale materials, ranging from A4 boards to correx towers, are provided to garden centres to aid sell through of the plants. Labels also feature the RHS plant for pollinators symbol, where appropriate, and a Grown in Britain and recyclable logo.
The maintenance team is based from a dedicated area of the warehouse.
