This traditional cottage garden plant with offer sensational spires of gorgeous lavender flowers with a white eye from June to July. Foliage will die down in autumn and it is hardy.

History: Named Delphinium as the ancient Greeks thought the flowers resembled Dolphins. Referred to as Larkspur in Tudor England, as they decided the flowers resembled a larks claw!
