Planting your hedge
Water the roots of the plant thoroughly. Separate the individual plants out of the pot. Mark out planting distances using canes, there should be 60cm - 90cm (2-3ft) between plants. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Place one plant in the hole to the same depth as it was originally (look for the soil mark) Return soil to the hole , gently shake the plant to ensure the soil settles around the roots and firm down with your foot. Repeat for each plant . Water in well.

Benefits: Walls & fences do the job but living plants (hedges) offer so much more in terms of beauty, attracting wildlife. giving wind protection and improving security
